Tom’s IT Pro: StorageOS Releases Docker Compatible Storage Platform

If you’ve been paying attention to the DevOps news lately, one thing is clear: Containers have been a disruptive technology since Docker came to market. And with DockerCon taking place in Seattle, WA this week, expectations are high for announcements and releases not only from Docker but from their partners in the ecosystem.

Along the container storage front, StorageOS is ready to announce a new container storage software that runs on bare metal, virtual machines, or container environments in the cloud and delivers ubiquitous storage to containers and operational processes for that storage, such as back ups and snapshots.
